Der Autor richtet seinen Blick auf Europa, indem er eine Zickzack-Reiseroute ohne vorherigen Plan wählt. Dabei gelangt er in Orte, die in den Grenzbereichen des Kontinents liegen (die baltischen Staaten, die Ukraine, Russland, Portugal, die Türkei), ohne dabei berühmte touristische Ziele wie Florenz oder Krakau auszulassen. Es ist die Form, die dieses Buch so außergewöhnlich macht. Horizontal angelegt, so wie Landschaft üblicherweise wahrgenommen wird, dass man meinen könnte, der Fotograf beschränke sich darauf, die besuchten Orte als Landschaft zu sehen. Manchmal ergänzt er die Bilder durch Anmerkungen zur Atmosphäre des Ortes. Alle Bilder sind schwarz-weiß. Sowohl ihre Auswahl als auch das Layout wurden von Kristoffer Albrecht selbst vorgenommen. Dadurch ist ein sehr persönliches Werk entstanden, sehr konsequent aufgemacht und perfekt gedruckt, wie alle „Musta Taide“-Publikationen.

The author focuses on Europe, taking a zigzag-like route, without any predetermined plan, reaching places in border areas of the continent (the Baltic States, Ukraine, Russia, Portugal, Turkey), and not even leaving out such well-known places as Florence or Cracow — established goals of tourist peregrinations. It is the form of this book that makes it so outstanding. It is Designed horizontally, the way the landscape is usually perceived, so one could believe that the Photographer limits himself to landscape-like perception of places he has visited. Sometimes the Artist adds text notes recording the atmosphere of the place. All the pictures are black-and-white. Both the editing of the pictures and the layout were done by Kristoffer Albrecht himself, creating a very personal work, very consistently made and perfectly printed, something that is common to all “Musta Taide” publications.
